bin liners

With such a wide range of bin liners and garbage bags to choose from it can be hard to pick the correct one for your needs. To help you we’ve put together a 1,2,3 guide of things to think about before making a choice.

#1 Know what bag type you need.

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

One of the most common plastics used around the world, HDPE features a variety of qualities, which makes it an excellent material for manufacturing plastic bags. It’s lightweight, relatively transparent, water and temperature resistant, and has high tensile strength. These liners are ideal for mid weight applications in washrooms, offices, food halls, schools and councils.

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

Though LDPE is not as strong as HDPE bags, they are capable of storing bulk items. These liners offer great puncture resistance and are ideal for mid to heavy weight applications in restaurants, clubs, hotels, shopping centers.

Polypropylene (PP)

PP bags are characterized by their remarkable chemical strength and resistance. Unlike other bags, polypropylene bags are not breathable and are ideal for retail situations due to their longer shelf life. PP is also used for food packaging, where items like candies, nuts, herbs and other confectionaries can be easily stored in bags made out of it.

EPI Biodegradable

Degradable bin liners for the environmentally conscious. The EPI additive in our range of garbage bags helps the bag to degrade quicker when it is in landfill. Suitable for areas where “green” products

are preferred.

MINT-X Repellent Range

The active ingredients of Mint-X repel rats and cockroaches ensuring your business remains rodent

free. The additive is derived from natural oils and is food safe and APVMA approved.

#2 What options do you need?

SEAL TYPE

Choose between a flat seal or star seal style.

COLOURS

Choose between Blue, Black, White or Natural (clear).

PACK

Choose between individually folded easy dispense flat packs or interleaved on a coreless roll.

#3 How to measure what size bag you require.

Step 1 Measure the circumference of the bin and divide it by half to get your width measurement.

Step 2 Measure the height of the bin and then add about 10cm for the overhang. This will keep your bin liner from moving inside the bin and help you to tie the bag up when it is removed.

Our bin liners are available in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses from 15 to 240 Litre.
