Hand Dryers
Hand Dryers are an alternative to hand towels, blowing (usually warm) air onto the user's hands to blow off excess water, drying the user's hands. They can be operated by a push-button or sensor-activation.
As hand dryers are an alternative to a paper towel, this option can eliminate the need for garbage bins or allow for the use of smaller garbage bins.
Hand Dryers available to Rapid Clean Newcastle can be supplied with a power lead or without, allowing it to be hard-wired to the power source. They need to be tested and tagged periodically.
Hand dryers are not as hygienic as paper towels as the air blast disperses bacteria. Studies show levels of bacteria dispersion ranging from 48% to 75%.
