RAPIDCLEAN 2017 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The RapidClean 2017 Annual Conference sees the rise of RapidClean continue. With more than 18 per cent growth, the Rapid Group is going from strength to strength.

The central message of the 23rd  RapidClean conference was the introduction of the 5 Year Plan. Held at the Stamford Grand Hotel in Glenelg, Adelaide from 19 to 21 October the conference brought together 41 members and 24 preferred suppliers. The location on the beach at Glenelg was a spectacular backdrop and provided the opportunity for a fun-filled, productive and well-earned trip away to celebrate the Group’s ongoing growth.

The conference kicked off with a scenic tour of Adelaide including wineries, Haigh’s chocolate factory and an amazing lunch at the Hahndorf Inn complete with German music and slap dancers. That night at Adelaide Zoo included a Sumatran Tiger Feed and dinner under the famous Rotunda.

However, with play comes work and attendees spent two conference days in member/supplier meetings and listened to marketing and business advice from guest speaker, Glenn Cooper –  the Chairman of the Cooper’s Brewery.

RapidClean’s general manager, Bruce Lees made a presentation on the past years performance of the Group and formally introduced the 5 Year plan. The Group celebrated another successful year with 18.8 per cent growth, which is remarkable on the back of 7 years of double digit growth. Bruce congratulated the Group on its success. “Our organisation over the last year has moved forward in leaps and bounds. There is still a long way to go to reach out goals but we have proven ourselves capable of competing with and beating large multi-national competitors in business. Our 5 year plan is a comprehensive plan for growth and success incorporating more stores in New Zealand, growth in National Accounts and additional suppliers”

As always the Group was generous in its contribution to charity, fundraising more than $9,000 for Cancer Council Australia. This was combined proceeds from the Sharon Lees Memorial Afternoon Tea and the Gala Dinner Auction.

With another successful year behind them, all RapidClean members and suppliers deserved to celebrate – and celebrate they did!

We would like to give special thanks and congratulate our supplier sponsors who have made our 23rd annual conference possible!
