Floor Polishers

At Rapid Clean Newcastle, we recommend polishing the floor of commercial space at least once a month. High traffic areas over time can start to look worn, becoming scratched and scuffed to the point that no matter how clean the floor may be, it always looks dirty and untidy. That is why floor maintenance is so important as it can help give your commercial space the visual lift that it needs. We offer a range of commercial floor polishers that are intended for heavy-duty work and therefore are most suited for these types of required jobs.

Types of Floor Polishers

Floor Polishers

Floor polishers are available at many different speeds and options, typically up to 750rpm for regular speed polishers and over 1000rpm for ultra-high-speed polishers. The type of floor and the preferred finish of the floor will determine the most suitable floor polisher that will be required, and the speed type of the polisher will determine the pads that you can use for the equipment. Regular speed polishers have a selected range of pads that they can use whereas ultra-high-speed polishers have more options. We have a vast selection of pads to choose from and can advise you about which pad would work best for your machine and the finish that you are hoping to achieve on the floor surface. There are multiple types of floor polishers that you should consider and speak to Rapid Clean Newcastle about for your specific floor (or general floors you polish if a professional cleaning company).

Floor Burnishers

Floor burnishers are more powerful than floor polishers and are better suited to floors that have been finished with a hard-wearing seal-like at shopping centres or grocery stores. Places that have a consistently high rate of foot traffic benefit greatly from a burnish. When used correctly these machines can create a super, high-gloss finish. If the floor space you are wanting to cover is substantial, we recommend you consider a ride-on buffer to help make your job easier. We also have a range of options that will suit any floor size so get in touch with us to discuss your needs.

Floor Polishers for All Floors

Our machines are durable pieces of equipment that work on tiled, wooden, concrete, marble, and vinyl floors. The type and size of the floor you have to polish will determine the type of machine you need. At Rapid Clean Newcastle we have two kinds of polishers, suction polishers which are designed to collect dirt and debris while using the machine and non-suction polishers which strip, scrub, polish and clean the floor with no collection. This means that a floor squeegee or electrostatic mop can be used afterward for collection.
